Equine Facilities

Banyandah's facilities are thoughtfully created for an intimate retreat experience to enhance your horse/human partnership. Participate in a clinic or go for a trail ride and explore the unique landscape.

Situated on the Murray River, Banyandah is a mix of open farming, native bush and wetlands. The 400 scenic acres will engage mind, body and soul whether you are exploring the land with your equine partner or alone.

The Light House welcomes you on arrival. As a 'centre for illumination' the earth building integrates a meeting area, teaching space and accommodation. Close by you will find the Cattleman's Hut, float parking, individual day yards for 40 horses, 3 round sand arenas - large (50m), medium (27m) and small (17m) plus stables.

Step down onto the flood plain and enter the expansive 'play ground' with its multitude of jump logs and challenges such as the 'car wash', 'teeter totter' and 'silly bridge'. Here also is the 'honeycomb', ideal for practicing the clover leaf pattern or some fun liberty.

As you mosey further towards 'the field of dreams' discover hidden among tall gums, a large sand arena (50m x 75m), a shady, sheltered spot to ride on a warm summer's day.

On this journey you will pass some old friends – the named ancient river red gums, who if you listen closely, may whisper their messages.....

.....the field of dreams.
